In the April 19 issue of Sports Collector's Digest you can read my tribute article to a great writer and friend-the late Robert Creamer. I think you'll find the story of how I managed to save his personal collection of papers and manuscripts interesting. My editor, Tom Bartsch, was also kind enough to include a blurb about Last Ghost at Gettysburg. My relationship with SCD has been rewarding, and I hope it continues for a long time!

You can find my latest Stadia Collector feature, "Stadia Articles Prompt Discussion", in the January 11 issue of Sports Collector's Digest. It's about some interesting responses I've received from the League Park and KC Municipal features from last year, along with a humorous Fenway discovery tale. As usual, my editor, Tom Bartsch, did a great job on the layout. Hope you like it. Check out SCD online if you aren't a subscriber. By the way, Pitchers and Catchers isn't far off!
My next SCD feature highlights reader feedback for some recent articles, most notably those that involved Nancy Finley, niece of former A's 70's dynasty owner Charlie Finley, who is actually writing a behind-the -scenes memoir of her days working in the A's front office for her dad Carl, who essentially ran the operation for Charlie. You can find both parts of my interview with her on the SCD website. Meanwhile, my daughter Caroline, who put together this very website, has begun typing the official manuscript of the next T.J. Jackson mystery. (I'm from the Hunt & Peck School of keyboarding!) It should be done by the first of the new year.
