Today I saw something that made me very proud. One of my former 7th Grade students, who's now on the staff of Inklings, the student newspaper at Staples HS (a publication that would put many college and small town papers to shame), wrote a fine piece on me and Last Ghost at Gettysburg in which she also included quotes from CMS alums who'd enjoyed my class. As a teacher, nothing could make me more happy. So, hats off to you, Amina Abdulkareem...you made my day!

We're now set for a Meet & Greet at the Fairfield University Bookstore (formerly Borders) from 12PM-3PM on Saturday, May 25. This is our second store date, the first being at Hobbytown USA of Fairfield from 12PM-2PM on Saturday, April 27. I'll let you know of any further opportunities!
What a surprise to visit the Fairfield Patch this morning and see myself and T.J. as the lead story! Many thanks to Caitlin Mazzola for a job well done. Her feature was thorough and well thought-out. We're steadily getting the word out there on T.J Jackson. Our next goal is to coordinate something with my hometown library in Fairfield; hopefully, an appearance in Gettysburg is down the road. Thanks to everyone who's liking T.J. on Facebook.
