Monday evening I had a real treat: hanging out with the Westport Mysterious Book Society, middle school kids who share a mystery book and then come together for some pizza and lively discussion. For the first time ever, they had the author on hand-me! We talked about Last Ghost at Gettysburg and they offered great insight and asked questions. I also received a suggestion from one member which I fully intend to use in the next book. (Thanks, Josh!) Kudos to Kris Nash, who runs this fine forum.

As of this week you can order Last Ghost at Gettysburg in both paperback and Kindle on Amazon. This should make it much easier to enjoy the exploits of T.J. and his friends. I am asking anyone who has read the book to please offer a review on the Amazon website. This helps to keep the interest going and boost sales. Thanks for supporting T.J. Jackson Mysteries!
This past Sunday I had the pleasure of speaking at Essex Books at Gather in Ivoryton, CT. It was interesting and encouraging to present a Young Adult novel to a more "mature" audience, which included my talented sister, artist Carol Young. Thanks to proprietor Sue McCann for her hospitality and support! Check out her shop and the other establishments in this charming town.
Next stop: Monday June 10 with the Westport Mysterious Books Society, 6 PM at the Westport Public Library. |
